In Part 1 of this series we talked about how cars get branded with salvage titles, and where they go after that. You know now that they often end up at auction yards, but it isn’t as easy to bid on them from the yard as you would have hoped. Now, we’re answering the question, “why use AutoBidMaster?”
A little bit of background: AutoBidMaster was founded over 10 years ago in Portland, Oregon. We saw an untapped treasure trove of vehicles in salvage yards that were inaccessible to the public, and we decided to bring the auction to you. What started out as a small venture now has a global presence, with members bidding on and buying vehicles all over the world.
So, why use AutoBidMaster?
Auction yards usually require buyers to have a business or dealer license in order to place bids. Each state has its own licensing requirements regarding the sale of auction vehicles, as well. AutoBidMaster cuts those steps out of the equation. We take care of all necessary licensing and allow you to purchase vehicles from auctions through our online platform.
With AutoBidMaster, you have access to the auto auction inventory, no dealer license required. We make bidding on and buying vehicles easy. We’ll take care of all the necessary paperwork and can even help you arrange shipping for your vehicle. Just place your bid, sit back, and let us take care of the rest!
All you need to do is register, place a 100% refundable security deposit, and you’re ready to bid.
Finding the right vehicle
AutoBidMaster makes it easy to narrow down your search. Vehicles are separated into comprehensive categories, with lots of filters available to make it easy to find what you’re looking for. They can be sorted by type, make, model, year, document type, damage, and other options. You can even search by location to find a vehicle that’s near a mechanic you trust, so you can have the vehicle inspected in person.
You can also sort by sale types: vehicles that are listed as “Pure Sale,” which means the final bid is what the lot goes for (excluding auction fees) without the need for seller approval, and vehicles listed under “Buy It Now” to skip the auction process and buy the vehicle at a fixed price.
