Tesla to Recall the Cybertruck Vehicles

Tesla to Recall the Cybertruck Vehicles

Tesla has issued a recall for all 3,878 Cybertrucks that have been shipped so far. This is due to concerns raised by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The reason is that potential accidents are linked to the technical issues with the accelerator pedal.

Reports of these problems have been appearing over the past few weeks. This forced Tesla to halt deliveries of the pickup truck. Elon Musk stated on social media that Tesla had been researching the issue. Also, he mentioned that the company has no proof of any accidents or injuries associated with the problem.

The NHTSA confirmed that the accelerator pedal in Cybertrucks could come loose, potentially slipping and getting stuck in the legroom trim. This can result in sudden acceleration and a crash.

As a result, Tesla will replace or modify the pedal in all current Cybertrucks. They’ve already started making Cybertrucks with the new pedal and are rushing to update those waiting for delivery.

By the way, Tesla regained the title of the world’s largest electric vehicle manufacturer in the first quarter of 2024. As Nikkei Asia stated, it happened after American Tesla lost the top spot to Chinese auto giant BYD last year.

The First Country to Switch to EVs Entirely Soon

The First Country to Switch to EVs Entirely Soon

In Norway, electric vehicles are on track to outnumber gasoline-powered cars, but it might be another three to four years before they surpass diesel automobiles. Norway remains at the forefront of battery-electric vehicle (BEV) sales, with around 90% of all new cars sold in the country this year being BEVs. It is estimated that BEVs could surpass the total number of gasoline and diesel cars in the country by 2029. Furthermore, Norway is poised to ban the sale of new gasoline and diesel cars by 2025, making it the first country to do so.

We at AutoBidMaster also strive to contribute to the eco-conscious shift in the automotive world. That’s why any car enthusiast will find a great number of used and cheap EVs and hybrids in our inventory of second-hand vehicles.

Lamborghini Presented the Hybrid Urus

Lamborghini Presented the Hybrid Urus

Italian automaker Lamborghini has unveiled a hybrid version of the Urus SUV. This is one step towards eco-conscious driving and the EV shift the car manufacturer has focused on.

The 2025 Lamborghini Urus SE is equipped with a twin-turbocharged V8 engine and an electric motor with a capacity of 789 hp. The car accelerates to 60 mph (100 km/h) in 3.4 seconds, and the top speed is over 290 mph (470 km/h). The new model has all-wheel drive, 11 driving modes, and a range of almost 40 miles (60 km) entirely on electricity. In addition, the Lamborghini Urus SE has approximately 80% lower emissions than the Urus with an internal combustion engine, as well as improved aerodynamics and cooling efficiency.

Bonus: Which Cars Lose the Least in Value a Year After Buying?

Which Cars Lose the Least in Value a Year After Buying

A study conducted by a team of automotive journalists has revealed interesting trends in the car market regarding depreciation in the first year of use. It turned out that some models don’t only lose value but can even show an increase.

According to the study, based on more than 1.6 million ads for the sale of new and used cars, the reliable Range Rover was ranked first on the scale of least depreciation. The average price increase for this model was 2.8% in the first year of use.

It is interesting to note that the second place went to the Kia Rio. After a year of use, the sedan lost an average of only 0.1 percent of its price, which means that it has almost completely retained its value.

The next models on the list of least-depreciating models include such cars as the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, Ford Maverick, and Toyota Sequoia Hybrid. They all showed relatively low percentages of price loss in the first year of operation.

Remember that with AutoBidMaster, you can win a car that has a price under $2,000, repair it, and resell it for a significant profit. That’s why online auto auctions can often be beneficial!
