Honda Is Going to Recall Some Vehicles
According to the announcement, the automaker is recalling the Honda CR-V and Accord 2023 hybrid models due to a problematic e-CVT transmission. The reason is that a manufacturing error resulted in the breakdown of the generator resolver cover. Its fragments may enter the transmission and cut the wires of the generator resolver while the vehicle is in motion. This could lead to a complete vehicle shutdown, requiring repairs to restart.
Drivers may receive a warning message regarding this issue on the dashboard. Honda knows only one warranty claim related to this problem so far. Customer notifications for the Honda recall will begin on October 11. Experts will replace the e-CVT transmission free of charge.

Jeep Presented a Renewed Gladiator Model
Jeep revealed the redesigned Gladiator pickup truck at the Detroit North American International Auto Show. According to the company, the 2024 model is the most potent and luxurious version of the Jeep Gladiator that has even been launched.
The revised Gladiator stands out with a new radiator grille with seven slots, an integrated windshield antenna, and new wheel designs. Speaking of the interior, the pickup’s dashboard has been updated, with a horizontally oriented 12.3-inch touchscreen display for the entertainment system replacing the old 7 or 8.4-inch displays, depending on trim level. Voice commands and the Jeep Adventure Guides navigation system have also been included.
The new Jeep Gladiator configuration is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 gasoline engine that produces 285 hp. Conversely, the Gladiator may acquire the company’s 4xe hybrid gearbox in the future. Depending on the model level, the gearbox options include a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic.
The redesigned Jeep Gladiator will be offered in four trim levels in the United States: Sport, Willys, Mojave, and Rubicon. Pre-orders have already begun, and cars are expected to be available for sale later this year.

Skoda to Set Budget Crossover Sale Records
This popular Czech car manufacturer is smashing its own sales records, with the brand’s automobiles having never been more popular than they are currently. In particular, the inexpensive crossovers that have flooded the market have contributed significantly to this spike in popularity.
Skoda crossovers presently account for around half of the company’s global sales, according to Motor1 information. The carmaker smartly joined the promising crossover market segment in 2009 with the Skoda Yeti model.
Since then, client satisfaction has consistently increased. The automaker has sold three million crossovers globally. The Kodiaq, which joined the model range in 2016 and has already sold 841,900 units, is principally responsible for this statistic.

An Impressive Traffic Jam Occurred After the Burning Man Festival
The state of Nevada holds one of the world’s largest events, Burning Man, every year. The event itself is one-of-a-kind on a worldwide scale. On the other hand, nature can occasionally break people’s leisure plans. This year, visitors had to deal with the aftermath of a big downpour.
The weather collision came across the Nevada desert a few days before the festival’s end, which is rare for this time of year. This caused considerable road erosion and damage. The situation became so critical that local officials decided to restrict the road movement in order to save festivalgoers from becoming trapped in the desert.
After the roads were reopened and safe to drive on, the number of people ready to exit the festival grounds surged dramatically. It caused an impressive and large traffic jam. Nearly 70,000 people were estimated to be trapped in the hours-long vehicle queque right in the desert. The Telegraph presented a video where the jam was filmed. The exact time it took cars to travel through this massive traffic jam is unknown.
